Very nice chip song! I thought that the slow intro transitioned quite well into the 'body' of the song as the melody picked up. The only complaint I have with this piece is that it is a little too short. I feel that you could expand upon what you have done here and make something awesome out of it! However, I understand that you were only going for a short piece so that's alright. Great stuff! :)

Thanks for the review

I have actually had a few requests on several different websites to make it longer now; at first it was just a test to see how well I could make chip-tune but I guess people really like it :)

Very nice! I love all of the instruments you used, especially the violin and the bells. Everything just flows so well that I'm easily able to imagine myself in this 'Ice Cavern'! When the voices came in, I really felt entranced. This song should get way more attention in my opinion, keep up the great work! I'll be looking out for more of your work! :)

Thank you for your comment Neon-Bard :)
I'm glad you liked it!

Sort of reminded me of EarthBound. It's definitely a different kind of song that left me with a slightly disoriented feeling, but not in a bad way really. I liked the chip melody that you used above the lower instruments! If there is something I would suggest though, it would be to lower the volume on these very instruments, or rather, the percussion and the bass. Otherwise, very interesting song! :)

KhawnerL responds:

So lower bass and percussion? I'll fix it up. Thanks for the feedback!

Definitely giving me a MGS vibe as well. I really liked the string work you incorporated around 1:30, it really increased the tension of the song! Overall, the electronic and subtle classical elements mix nicely and they certainly blend together to create a high action piece. I think this piece would work nicely in a stealth-based game (obviously) and of course it would also fit well into the action or shooter genres. Excellent work on this song, keep it up! :)

Awesome to hear.Really appreciated.Glad you guys like it:)

I have nothing but praise for this song. It has that very distinctive well, 'Stunkel' sound! Every instrument you have used compliments each other in a subtle, yet delightful way that really brings out the uplifting theme you were going for. Excellent work. :)

stunkel responds:

Thanks man :3

I agree with Divo, the beat is very intriguing. You have managed to build it up along with the song, though you may want to turn down the volume just a bit and then add some more reverb to the beat. Otherwise, I really like the blend of deeper, slightly droning effects that you used to accompany the bright piano and 'chip-like' sounds. Great stuff! :)

Thanks for the input and kind words! I'll try what you've suggested and see how I like it!

Nice, relaxing, and interesting piece you've got here! I thought you did an excellent job with the strings harp and piano, they were all really well placed and they helped bring about the theme you were trying to convey! The break that starts at 1:00 and continues onward to about 1:43 was my favorite part of the song. Also, the song slightly reminds of something that you would hear in Zelda.

The repetition makes the song a tad stale, some more variation would work well with this song. However, I think this is a job well done so keep up the good work! :)

Very interesting song! The intro is a little bit strange so it threw me off guard at first. I really like how you build it up subtly, especially near the end of the song after 3:30 onwards. The strings, synths and pads blend together for a really nice mix overall. Well done! I think the kicks you used could be turned down just a smidgeon, but that's not a really big deal at all.

This is most definitely an atmospheric piece, there are moments of tension with some great laid-back elements. Very fitting for sure. You did a great job with this piece, keep it up man! :D

GershBeats responds:

Thanks for the review! Means a lot :)

Very calm, relaxing song. The bass was well placed and the strings worked great as accompaniment! The are portions of the song that feel a little too repetitive, but it also kind of compliments the song too so it all works out. There are a few notes that become slightly muddled, but that's also an easy fix! Overall, this is a nice song that is very easy to listen to, keep it up! :)

JQiscool responds:

Thanks :D

I really dig this, it reminds me of something from the Tales series (like when you're about to face the final boss or something). The song loops so well that at first I wasn't aware it had begun again. Though I agree with Deco...it should be longer! Excellent work, keep it up! :)
