Hey there MetalRenard!

I must say, this is quite a good track! I'm not really into metal of any kind (at least not like I used to be when I was younger) but I am really digging the electronic/metal fusion you've got going on here. I could clearly hear the portions of the song that inspired you, and they fit really well into the overall build of the song. I particularly liked 2:00-2:20. I think it would be pretty cool if the song was a tad bit longer, but that's only a minor thing. Great stuff!

Thanks for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed the track! :)

Step, this is a very catchy song you've got here. I find myself listening to it over and over again just to carefully catch all of the instruments you have used (and more importantly to appreciate the entirety of the song itself). To be quite honest, the song you have created here is something that I believe I will use for inspiration in some of my future songs.

I really love how you have incorporated the vast array of instruments which just seamlessly compliment each other. How long have you been making music anyway? It seems to me that you have had extensive experience, or you're simply full of natural talent (or both)! I'm really not a technical artist, and I honestly don't care for picking apart a song or its sounds. I just like the creative process, and this song certainly boasts creativity! I hope that one day I will be able to create something as full and lively as this. If you ever have the time, could you check out some of my stuff and give me some tips and advice? I would really appreciate it! :)

Keep up the amazing work! Have a good one! :D

Wow, nice review. Thank you!

I am in the belief that 'catchy' is one of the most awesome compliments a musician can ever receive :3.

Hehe yeah I've been making my music more and more complex. While this can be good in a way, I still wish I'm able to make tracks that are simple but likeable. I've got to really strain myself and throw in all sorts of CPU-eating VSTs and instruments just to make a decent-sounding track.

That's really great to hear!

Thanks, I'm relieved to hear that it worked.

Well I've been composing for like four years now. I've been playing piano for around six. Before then, I found music kinda boring. Now I find it one of the most awesome things on this planet haha.

Thanks, this means a lot! IMO if an artist isn't creative then s/he isn't a true artist so yeah it's pretty awesome knowing that other people think your music is creative.

I'd love to! As evident by my late reply I've got lots to do though so I might take a while. If I don't get at least one review on one of your recent songs by next week, I demand that you remind me about it via PM :3.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.

Excellent work. This is one of my favorite Skyrim songs, and you certainly did it justice.

MichaelJ responds:

Thank you, It's my favorite Skyrim piece. I HAD to make a cover. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Amazing!

Wow! I first looked at the title and thought "Weldar? That sounds too familiar...is that from Banjo-Tooie?" Then I googled it and sure enough!

I am really impressed with this track, well done!!! :D

P.S. If you don't mind me asking, what did you use for the "Violin" type sounds? They first begin at around 0:50 and the sound continues to show up over the course of the song. It sounds an awful lot like the original sound used in Rare N64 games. I'm just curious because I've been looking for that sound for a long time. Did you use the original?

Oh boy...look at how long this is getting! Sorry for the long message/review. Have a good one! :)

AstrothSounds responds:

Hey :) thank you!
I dont use any original sounds...but i dont use any violin sound :D
its a simple sound of fl studio 7

Great song!

I think you did an excellent job with the progression, and I love the intro. Keep it up!

lanky21 responds:

hey, thanks a ton Neon, I really appreciate it!

Simply Brilliant!

I really like how this song builds. I love stargazing so this song seems like it could be part of my "Life Soundtrack". I know that might sound a little weird, but hey, the song is that good! :)

KKSlider60 responds:

Life soundtrack, that's a nice concept indeed, and thank you very much for your time and review :D
I really appreciate everyone's support here

Something else!

This song really is something else. It was one of my favorites from VI. You've done a really good job at expanding upon the song and bringing back the nostalgia factor for me!

KKSlider60 responds:

Awesome! Thank you very much :D

This is a nice song!

Really nice progression with this, although I would suggest one thing and that would be to flesh out your sounds a little more. Perhaps add some additional piano chords! Overall I really like this though, it reminds me of Donkey Kong Country or something lol. Don't worry that's a good thing. :)

NinjaTomatoes responds:

thanks for the review and suggestions; glad you liked it
